Is a refurbished laptop as good as a new one?
Yes — in most cases. A refurbished laptop has been professionally cleaned, tested, and repaired if needed. The only difference is cosmetic wear. Performance-wise, it runs exactly the same as the day it left the factory.
Will a refurbished phone work with my SIM card?
All phones we sell are network unlocked — they work with any UK SIM card including EE, O2, Vodafone, Three, Sky Mobile, and all others.
What is the difference between Grade A, B, and C?
The grade describes how the device looks, not how it performs. Grade A looks nearly new. Grade B has light marks. Grade C has visible wear. All grades are fully tested and work perfectly. See our Grade A, Grade B, and Grade C pages for full details.
Does it come with a charger?
This varies by listing — we always state clearly in the product description whether a charger is included. USB-C chargers are widely available and inexpensive if you need one.
Can I return it if I'm not happy?
Absolutely. We offer a 30-day returns policy. If you're not satisfied for any reason, contact us and we'll sort it out.
Is Windows on a refurbished laptop fully licensed?
Yes. All our Windows laptops come with a genuine, activated Windows licence. You'll receive security updates from Microsoft normally.
What if I've never used Linux before — is it difficult?
Not at all. Modern Linux (like Ubuntu) is very easy to use and looks similar to Windows. If you mainly browse the internet and do email, you'll feel at home within an hour.
How do I know the data from the previous owner has been wiped?
Every device goes through a full factory reset and professional data wipe before relisting. Your privacy is fully protected.
