Frequently Asked Questions

Everything people ask us before buying a refurbished device — answered plainly. Can't find yours? Ask us directly, it's free.

Buying Refurbished

What does "refurbished" actually mean?

A refurbished device is one that has been owned before — often a business laptop returned at the end of a lease — then inspected, tested, cleaned and restored to full working order. It is not the same as "second-hand": every device we sell has passed a full inspection and carries a warranty.

What do Grades A, B and C mean?

Grade A — excellent condition, minimal to no signs of use. Grade B — good condition with light scratches on the case; the screen is spotless. Grade C — visible wear and the lowest price, but works exactly as well as the others.

The grade describes only how the device looks — never how it works. Full details with photos: Grade A, Grade B, Grade C.

Is the battery tested?

Batteries are tested as part of the refurbishment process. Everyday wear isn't a fault, but if a battery suddenly fails or won't hold a charge, that's covered by your warranty. Want to know a specific device's battery condition? Just ask before you buy.

Does it come with a charger?

Yes — every laptop and tablet ships with a compatible charger, and every phone with a charging cable. If anything is missing from your box, tell us and we'll send it free of charge.

Delivery

How quickly will my order arrive?

Standard UK delivery takes 2–4 working days and express 1–2 working days. We dispatch from the UK with Royal Mail or DPD, and you receive a tracking number by email the moment your parcel leaves us.

Can I track my parcel?

Yes — every order is tracked. You'll get an email with your tracking link as soon as the device is dispatched, so you can see exactly where it is and when it will arrive.

Returns & Warranty

What if I change my mind?

You have 14 days from delivery to return the device for a full refund — no reason needed. That's your legal cooling-off right for online purchases, and we honour it without quibbling. Full details on our Returns & Delivery page.

What if the device is faulty?

Within 30 days of delivery you can reject a faulty device for a full refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Beyond that, our warranty covers any hardware fault — we repair, replace or refund, and return postage is free. See the Warranty page.

How do refunds work?

Once your return arrives and is inspected, we process the refund within 5 working days to your original payment method. Your bank may take a further 3–5 working days to show it.

Payment & Security

Which payment methods do you accept?

All major debit and credit cards, plus PayPal. Payments are processed by Shopify's secure checkout — we never see or store your card details.

Is my personal data safe with you?

Yes. We're a UK business and follow UK GDPR. We only keep what we need to deliver your order and honour your warranty, and we never sell your details. Our Legal page has the full policy.
